OUR HISTORY

In the 1980s, The Macleay Street Bistro was established in Potts Point by Sydney culinary legends Mark Armstrong and Daniel Gantiez.

In the mid 1990’s, the acclaimed chef Mark Best led the kitchen, before following his own trajectory to Marque Restaurant, his awarded 3-hat restaurant in Surry Hills. Mark was in the kitchen when Carole Becka became the Bistro’s owner in 1995.

In 2013, Mark Campbell and Phillip Fikkers, Potts Point locals and customers of the Bistro for over 20 years became the current owners.

In 2014, they acquired the Deli Potts Point and in 2015, Buzo Modern European Restaurant in Woollahra.

MSB now provides dinner boxes to the Deli Potts Point 5 nights per week.

WEEKLY BOARD SPECIALS

Our Specials Board changes every Thursday and reflects the produce markets for that week. We are ensuring that no matter how many times you dine with us there will always be something new to motivate your taste buds. The weekly dishes featured on the Specials Board are highlighted on our Facebook page every Thursday.

OUR WINE LIST

Our wine list sources wines from France, Australia, Italy, Argentina and New Zealand. Most of our wines are organic and/or biodynamic. We also offer a selection of our wines by the glass. We can cater for B.Y.O. (A corkage charge of $14 per bottle applies).
